Why to take PTE

The Pearson Test of English (PTE) is a computer-based English language proficiency test that is widely recognized by universities, colleges, and governments around the world. The test assesses the English language skills of non-native speakers in the areas of listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

PTE Structure Overview

Test takers will have to listen to the clips and answer multiple-choice questions, fill in the blanks, highlight the correct summary, or select the missing word or phrase.

Reading: The reading section of the PTE test consists of several texts, including academic and non-academic materials. Test takers will have to read the texts and answer multiple-choice questions, fill in the blanks, or select the correct summary or the missing word or phrase.

Writing: The writing section of the PTE test consists of two tasks, the first task requires test takers to write an essay of around 200-300 words based on a given prompt. Test takers are also expected to demonstrate a clear and organized argument and use appropriate grammar, vocabulary, and punctuation.
